Oblivion PS3 Content Not Exclusive!

October 12th, 2006 | by Deejay Knight, Editor/Founder

To all of the Xbox 360 Oblivion gamers out that dont' want to go mad with frustration about the PS3 getting exclusive quests and the like, there's a glimmer of hope:

In an interview with IGN, as spotted by a NeoGAF message board member, Oblivion executive producer Todd Howard the studio aims "to have all our content available across all platforms, so that is our goal."

Not to act as if I knew it the whole time, but haven't we been downloading new quests anyway? I would think this wouldn't even be a big deal, but it's definitely a good thing to know.

Xbox 360 to get DivX support?

October 11th, 2006 | by Deejay Knight, Editor/Founder

Apparently, it's possible...

Even though there are many ways to watch videos with differing codecs on the Xbox 360 already, word around the campfire is that Microsoft is finally going to make it official!

From a Microsoft retailer training session (translated from Dutch): "After the event I had a short talk with the host and asked him whether there'd ever be support for DivX and Xvid playback. Much to my surprise, he started telling me that Microsoft is working hard to implement this and a firmware update is expected within 2 months allowing you to play DivX and Xvid directly on the 360."

Why My Xbox 360 needs Superman Returns

October 11th, 2006 | by Deejay Knight, Editor/Founder

Mxyzptlk. Bizarro. Lex Luthor. These are common names to expect whenever you hear Superman being brought up in a conversation. Sure you'll hear the of the villains and their antics against the troubled city of Metropolis, but have you ever thought about what would happen if Superman wasn't there to clean everything up?

Now's your chance to see for yourself. This past Friday, I played a full three hours of Superman Returns for the Xbox 360, and for the first time EVER- not only was I left wanting to play more of a Superman game, but it was a damn good one.

October 10th, 2006 | by Deejay Knight, Editor/Founder

With a trip like this one, where do I even start? This past weekend had to be one of the most fun-filled i've ever had, and that says a LOT. I was fortunate enough to be involved in EA's Community Day for Superman Returns, and I had a helluva time. Since I forgot my camera, i'll be using imagery from everyone else's vaults :).
