You heard it right - Microsoft's console is set to release in Brazil next month for a whopping $1399 (hopefully that's in Reais - Brazil's currency). Child’s Play 2006 has started!

With the media having a field day about gaming, nowadays, it's always good to see gamers lifting above the pack. Well, Mike "Gabe" Krahulik and Jerry "Tycho" Holkins of Penny Arcade have been doing so over the last three years. In 2003, the team created the "Child's Play" charity. It's a charity that teams up with children's hospitals around the globe to provide donations of toys, games, books and money to children in need. Last year alone, they recieved more than $605,000 in donations from gamers around the world. This year? They plan to smash that record.

It's time for the 2nd Annual Xbox Community Awards!

It's about that time of the year where Gamertag Radio gives out awards to the members of the community that deserve recognition for their above-and-beyond actions. There are a lot of categories to choose from, butwhen I saw the story, I was a bit surprised to see DeaconBlade360 from Unscripted360 mentioned in multiple categories!

That, to me, is amazing. I know DeaconBlade personally, and if anyone is worthy of these awards in the community, it's him. He's one of the coolest people i've met in the community so far - and that says a lot.
