Nintendo Drops Wii U Price To $299.99

Nintendo has announced today that the Wii U 32GB Deluxe system will be dropping in price to $299.99 on September 20. The 8GB model will drop to $249.99, and will soon be phased out. Many retail stores have confirmed recalls on the 8GB model, but some do still have them in stock.

In addition to the price cut, Nintendo is also releasing a The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD bundle on September 20 for a suggested retail price of $349.99.

The bundle will include the 32GB model with custom Zelda-themed gamepad, a digital version of Wind Waker HD, which can be redeemed and played prior to its October 4 release date of the physical version, and a digital version of the Hyrule Historia book.
