Ryse Confirmed As Xbox One Exclusive

Crytek has confirmed that its originally Kinect based game, Ryse, will launch exclusively on the Xbox One. The confirmation came from the game’s website, where a countdown clock is ticking to June 10, the date of Microsoft’s E3 2013 presentation.

Ryse was originally a Kinect-only title, which made the entire player the controller. However, it now appears from the game’s description that the Kinect is a mere “enhancement” with “controller-based gameplay enhanced by Kinect.”

The game was originally announced back in 2010 as an Xbox 360 exclusive called “Kingdoms.” According to The Verge, Ryse will be a launch title for the Xbox One alongside Forza Motorsport 5.

Ryse was originally revealed as a Kinect only game for the Xbox 360.
