Could Sonic Be Gearing Up For Another Run?

It appears SEGA has recently filed a trademark for the name Sonic: Lost World. The filing has led to speculation as to what SEGA could be gearing up for one of its oldest and most famous franchises.

SEGA registered the name for use with video games but, oddly enough, the trademark is only good in Europe.

News that SEGA is working on a new Sonic game should stun anyone, but nothing solid has been confirmed at this point.

We may hear something at E3 this year, because unlike some other publishers, SEGA is set to be on hand.
