2K Games Will Skip E3 2013
2K Games announced on its website that it will not attend E3 in June, and will instead release news and information for upcoming games in the typical, non-booth babe fashion.
“At 2K, we’re excited for the new opportunities coming with the next generation of hardware, and are hard at work preparing our announced titles for release,” the website announcement said. The company wrote that it will release details for its spring games over the course of the year.
Among the games listed to get news updates are Sid Meier’s Civilization V, XCOM: Enemy Unknown for iOS, DLC for Borderlands 2 as well as sports titles such as WWE 2K14 and NBA 2K14.
“Stay tuned for our live gameplay and event broadcasts to see the latest gameplay from our upcoming titles,” the company said, noting that gamers can subscribe to the 2K YouTube channel for all new and upcoming trailer releases.
Earlier in the week, Nintendo announced that it won’t have its usual press conference for E3 2013, but will still have a presence there.
