Challenge Mode Coming to Rayman Legends

Nintendo has announced that a Challenge Mode app will be coming to Rayman Legends this week for Wii U. The app is designed as an apology from Ubisoft for delaying the game.

A series of daily and weekly challenges for one to five players will be available, as records will be stored on global leaderboards. There are four levels set to be featured, including “Murfy’s Dungeon” which is a Wii U exclusive.

“We just wanted to reach out and let you know how truly humbled we were by the outpouring of support from the community and the fans about the announcement of the delay of Rayman Legends, and let you know that it definitely hurt us to see you guys so upset about the delay,” said Senior Game Manager Michael Micholic.

The Challenge Mode be available through the eShop for free on April 25. Rayman Legends is now set to launch this September for Wii U, Xbox 360, and PS3.
