Tropico Titles and DLC Get Big Discounts

Kalypso Media announced today that its island-developing city simulator will see a price cut. The Steam and site-wide sale offers big discounts for select titles, such as Tropico and other DLC packs. The sale starts today and goes until March 15. Some titles are up to 75 percent off, which coincidentally spawns amidst the woes of that one popular city simulator by that rather large company that isn’t making a lot of people due to server errors.

In Tropico, players take on the role of El Presidente. Deploy democracy, or run your island state as a dictatorship. However you squeeze blood from that turnip, you must still avoid tropical disasters, build up your stock of tobacco or simply flourish in tourists. If you’d like to know whether the title is worth your city funding, check out our review of the Tropico 4: Modern Times expansion pack.
