The Last Guardian Skipped to PS4, Reveals Former Sony Employee

According to a post at NeoGAF, Kenny Linder, a former employee of Bigbig (a closed Sony UK studio), has said that Team Ico’s The Last Guardian has been moved from the PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation 4 platform. Along with this confirmation, he stated that the game has “been PS4 for a long time now.”

In response to a question on an estimated release date for this title, Linder said he does not know of a possible release time frame, but The Last Guardian has been in development for the PS4 for an the extended period.

“Its platform has been questionable for nearly two years, but the last time it was restarted (it’s been restarted a number of times), it was moved to Orbis (PS4),” he wrote.

If the information is true, this would explain why Sony has kept details surrounding this title silent for so long.
