Origin Goes Live For Mac Users

Electronic Arts has announced today that their virtual store, Origin, has officially moved out of beta status and is in full swing for all Mac users worldwide.

For those of you who happen to own both a PC and Mac, a purchase on Origin will give you the ability to play on both operating systems. This is a similar deal that you would get with a purchase on Steam.

The library of games on Mac include titles such as Batman: Arkham City, Dragon Age II, and The Sims 3. Other game include titles from EA and its publishing partners SEGA and Warner Bros.

The Origin community currently has 39 million members while steam has 50 million.
