Tomb Raider Not Getting an Online Pass or Demo

If you were hoping for a pre-release demo of the highly anticipated franchise reboot from Square Enix, Tomb Raider, you can forget it. The global brand director of Crystal Dynamic, Karl Stewart, revealed through Twitter that the game will not have a demo or online pass.

“Reading some of your comments/questions about @tombraider multiplayer. Just so were all on the same [p]age, there’s no Season or Online Pass”

Season passes became a popular common place with games like Call of Duty Black Ops, Halo 4, and Uncharted. The idea behind a season pass is users pay one price upfront and receive all of the games DLC automatically when it is release.

Stewart also went on to tweet:

“For all those @tombraider fans asking. There are no plans to release a demo of the game pre-launch. We don’t want to spoil the story……..”

Tomb Raider is set to release on Mar. 5 for Xbox 360 and PS3. For the latest news on Tomb Raider, check out the multiplayer trailer and stay tuned to GAMINGtruth for more updates as they come.
