Retro City Rampage Hits Killer Flash Sale

Got a wallet full of Steam funds? Receive a shiny new PlayStation Plus membership? Either of these will deliver a city full of 8-bit opportunity.

Today, VBlank Entertainment announced its 8-bit Grand Theft Auto-esque title, Retro City Rampage, will be on a flash sale on Steam for 50 percent off ($7.44) and free to PlayStation Plus members. Having it free applies to both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita stores.

The compatibility between the consoles supports newly announced cross-save features. This means you can run amuck on your handheld, then pick up and continue playing your save file on your home console.

Besides the sales, there is good news for antsy Xbox LIVE fans. The game is finally launching on to the Xbox LIVE Marketplace next month. January 2013 will no doubt start off with a bang. And a boom. Oh, and some senseless driving.
