Download Street Fighter X Mega Man Today, More Retro to Release in 2013
It isn’t often that you get a remake of a classic game. Better yet, it isn’t often that you get a remake of a classic game that is still sportin’ the graphics of its retro era.
Capcom recently announced the release of Street Fighter X Mega Man, a throwback title of sorts. The game retro-fits an 8-bit Mega Man title with a mix of Street Fighter characters, moves and bosses. The title is available today and available to download here on PC.
The game was developed by superfan Seow Zong Hui (aka “Sonic”). He is widely known for its talents in Street Fighter, ya’know being a pro gamer and all. The partnership between Seow and Capcom gives anyone hope who is looking to start their career in gaming using their passion as a vehicle to do so. It looks like a retro gamers dream, but more importantly a dream for Seow.
News of the mashup release also promises more in the Mega Man series. Capcom is planning a series of releases for the Nintendo 3DS console. Starting Dec. 27 titles from Mega Man to Mega Man 6 will be “staggered” throughout 2013. There’s no doubt that your buster will be ready to blast after that news.
