Ranger Mode Returns in Metro: Last Light’s Limited Edition
THQ recently confirmed that initial copies of Metro: Last Light will be sold as the Limited Edition that’s packed with a plethora of additional content.
Players can guarantee their free upgraded to the Limited Edition by pre-ordering the game at select retailes like the THQ Store, Amazon.com, Best Buy, EB Games, Gamestop and Walmart.
The Limited Edition upgrade includes a copy of the game with Ranger Mode, the fan-favorite game mode from the original release of Metro 2033 that brings the ultimate survival horror experience. Metro: Last Light‘s LImited Edition also includes the Ranger load-out with additional bonus military-grade bullets to spend on weapon upgrades as well as the deadly AKS-&4U modified Russian rifle.
“‘Ranger Mode’ provides the definitive Metro experience,” said Huw Beynon, creative strategist, THQ. “It’s deservedly regarded as one of the most immersive, atmospheric challenges in gaming and we think fans will be very happy to see its return in the Metro: Last Light Limited Edition.”
Along with the Limited Edition special offer, starting on Dec. 18 gamers in North America who pre-order the full LE digital version of Metro: Last Light on the PlayStation Network will receive a free digital copy of Homefront when the game is launched, along with a free Metro: Last Light PSN theme that’s awarded at the time of purchase.
