Hidden Secrets DLC Pack Announced for Assassin’s Creed III

Earlier today Ubisoft announced The Hidden Secrets, the very first DLC pack for Assassin’s Creed III. The DLC is actually now available for Season Pass holders and will be available for everyone else on Dec. 11, 2012 via Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and Windows PC.

The DLC is also planned for release on the Wii U at a later date.

The Hidden Secrets DLC adds three brand new missions to Assassin’s Creed III’s dynamic campaign: The Lost Mayan Ruins, The Ghost of War, and  A Dangerous Secret, each totaling to an extra hour of campaign gameplay. This new pack takes players from ancient Mayan ruins to the high seas, rewarding gamers with in-game weapons for completion of each mission.

Successul completion of the new missions also offers the following rewards:

  • Two brand new single-player costumes including the fabled Captain of Aquila suit as well as the traditional Colonial Assassin garb
  • Two multiplayer characters like the fearsome Redcoat and the deadly Sharpshooter

Get the ACIII Season Pass for exclusive access to all add-ons and DLC’s like The Hidden Secrets and the upcoming The Tyranny of King Washington–an all-new single-player campaign told through three episodic content packs that allows gamers experience an alternate history following the events of the American Revolution–for 2400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $29.99 on the PlayStation Network.

In addition to the upcoming campaign DLCs, gamers can expect to find a few multiplayer add-ons such as The Battle Hardened pack to expand the game’s distinct competitive experience.
