Nintendo Brings Its Wii U for You at the New York Comic Con
There aren’t enough hours in the day to spread yourself across the many gaming festivals throughout each year. While we are on the verge of another kicking off to celebrate comic books and nerdy pop-culture–Nintendo fans might find it worth the journey.
The New York Comic-Con kicks off tomorrow 10/14 and goes until 10/15. With it comes a slew of Nintendo titles that have been the talk of the media town.
While many are still becoming comfortable with the concept of having a touchscreen in the middle of their controller, there is no doubt that curiosity may even bribe you into checking out these games.
Aside from the giant list of playable titles there is also the opportunity for a giant sticker. lol, wut?
For those able to make it by (Booth No. 1510) Nintendo will be handing out exclusive Super Mario Sticker Star themed stickers. The first 400 fans to collect all four stickers will be eligible for one hugemongous one that they can drop on community created Paper Mario: Sticker Star board.
I think I’d just keep this for my room at home, but that’s just me.
Contests for New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Kid Icarus: Uprising will also be taking place. If you are at the show, there is no doubt that you will have to at least stop by for some stickers for a good friend (ahem) and maybe even a chance to win cool stuff.
Here are the games that will be playable on the show floor for the Nintendo Wii U:
- The Wonderful 101
- Nintendo Land
- New Super Mario Bros. U
- Game & Wario
- Pikmin 3
- NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge
