Sleeping Dogs Will Receive Six Months of Additional DLC

Square Enix and United Front Games are making sure that those who pick up Sleeping Dogs are going in for the long term, as the companies plan on bringing six months worth of extra content to the game starting in September.

Sleeping Dogs is a game we know fans will want to keep on playing, so over the next six months we’ll be creating a series of new content packs giving players everything they need to keep enjoying the game,” Lee Singleton, Square Enix London Studios general manager, said in the announcement. “We want to create something to suit everyone’s play style from cool cars and high-speed missions to outlandish outfits and game-extending mission packs. The game launch is just the beginning.”

Early reviews for Sleeping Dogs have been promising, and hearing about some extra content isn’t always bad news. Maybe not everyone will agree with post-launch DLC, but if it just isn’t your thing then don’t get it.
