$99 Xbox 360 Going Nationwide Next Month

Earlier, Microsoft’s own Major Nelson confirmed that the $99 Xbox 360 will be going nationwide next month.

“Today, I’m happy to announce that we’re expanding the pilot to all U.S. Best Buy stores and select GameStop locations later this month,” he wrote in his official blog. “This next phase of the pilot program will be limited in terms of both timing and the number of units available—we’re excited to forge new ground and explore a new retail model for Xbox 360, but also want to emphasize that this is a pilot period for the program.”

A 4GB Xbox 360 and Kinect are included in the bundle. To get this deal, you have to sign a two-year contract for Xbox LIVE. After your initial payment of $99, you’ll have to pay $15 a month for the service.
