Spec Ops: The Line is Still Alive and Breathing Multiplayer

How long does a game take to make? Months? Years? In the case of Spec Ops: The Line, we’ve already have been scratching our beards since E3 2010 anticipating its release.

Set in Dubai, we are finally starting to understand and better shape what makes Spec Ops such a brutal experience. As seen in this newly released trailer, if you can’t figure it out after watching it, you must have lost all sense of what it’s like to be a human being.

Even at our first hands-off glimpse a few years back, the title was starting to look great. From the unique and suffocating feel to the sand, right down to the realness of war–there was something interesting to discover out in the middle of the desert. It’s nice to see a third person shooter that is as polished as its competitors–but doesn’t make every effort to mirror them in gameplay.

The game is set to release June 26, 2012, which is much better than being delayed like it has in the past. 2k has also launched an Official Spec Ops The Line site.
