Retro City Rampage “Big News” News, for News Fans that Like News
Retro City Rampage has released more trailers than the mobile home park across the street. Last week, Retro City Rampage creator Brian P. promised us some “Big News” about the upcoming digital title. So, what exactly was this epic dropping of information? Could it be? Is there really a release date in sight? For fans who have been waiting patiently, like me, and that have been salivating over the retro-activity, the countdown is on the horizon.
This news also comes to us with the announcement that Retro City Rampage will also be hitting ALL current-gen consoles. That’s right, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, PC, Wii, and Xbox 360 owners will all be able to take part in the pixelated anarchy of RCR.
If that wasn’t enough, if you were looking to pre-order the title on Steam DRM-Free, it will come with the following bonuses straight from the Retro City Rampage official site:
- Norrin Radd “Bonus Tracks” Mini-Soundtrack
- Digital Game Box & Cartridge Label
- Digital Game Manuals
- 20% Off Coupon for Official Shirts, Posters & Pins
10 Mastered Music Tracks From The Game (320 kbps MP3)
Print Ready 300 dpi; NES box and label dimensions
Print and assemble your own box and faux-cartridge!

Done entirely in NES authentic pixel art!
May 2012 is the month that retro fans will get to live out their wildest 8-bit GTA dreams. From the looks of the featured items, I can say that this game will be worth the wait.
