Bethesda Gives Gamers a Glimpse of Skyrim’s Dark Elf
So far, the main character class that Betheda has shown from the upcoming The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the Nord, who has graced almost all of the trailers and gameplay clips since the game’s announcement. Recently on its Facebook page, the company revealed the Dark Elf. The dark elves, or Dunmer, herald from the land of Morrowind, and are warriors by nature. They are among the most popular races chosen in the series, and often end up becoming fighters or battle mages.
This dark elf in particular looks like he has been groomed to be an assassin, judging by his black armor (maybe Dark Brotherhood) and short blades. Of course, I don’t know how well those nasty serrated buggers he’s holding should be used to assassinate anything, lest he get them stuck in some high ranking official. One thing I can’t help but notice are his blazing pearly-white teeth. Now I’m no expert or nothin’, but wouldn’t a world based in what is close to our Middle Ages have a problem with tooth decay? This guy, though, seems to have some perfect teeth which just glow. Probably not the best thing to have as a stalker in the night. But anyway.
For Elder Scrolls fans looking to get their Dark Elf on, this should be enough to sate appetites until the final product hits shelves November 11. If you choose the path of the assassin, it looks like your profession will be supported quite well. Just remember to keep your mouth closed.
