Bungie Turns 20, Gives Out Steak and Apps
Bungie is turning 20 this year, and they just announced their anniversary plans. The festivities will run from June 23 to July 7, which has been coined “Bungie Day.”
Owners of iOS devices can download the free Bungie Mobile app, which lets you track your progress in Halo: Reach‘s challenge modes. The app is also a way to get the latest Bungie scoops. The app is available right now.
Sometime over the course of these festivities, Bungie will announce what the hell “Bungie Aerospace” is, and when the hell we’ll see it.
The final salient point is that the Bungie developers will be holding a 24-Hour Bungie vs. The World No Holds Barred Halo: Reach Marathon on Bungie Day. Any team that beats Bungie at their own game by more than 20 kills will be handsomely rewarded… With steak? Yep. Bungie will mail meat to the winners.
If the word “Bungie” hasn’t lost all meaning to you by now, check out their blog to see what else they’re planning. Could it be a reveal of the next Marathon game?
No, it could not.
