Brink Forums and Website hacked

Over the weekend, a group of hackers attempted to intrude on Brink’s website and forums.

According to Bethesda’s official blog, they believe they were able to protect against the intrusion, and that the attackers were not able to compromise any financial or credit card information, but users should change their usernames and passwords, as the hackers may have accessed those.

The full blog entry can be read here.

This news does coincide with the information from yesterday that “Lulzsec”, the group responsible for hacking Sony sites over the past few weeks, was intending on hacking the Brink servers.
