Splinter Cell Trilogy Delayed

Sam Fisher waits in a hallway, suspending himself in a split between the walls ten feet off of the ground. His legs tense and knot, his prey not in sight. “I can’t hold this for much longer,” he thinks.

Well, Sam, you’re going to have to wait about three more months.

Ubisoft has reported that the Splinter Cell Trilogy has been pushed back to June 21, although it was set to release on March 22. No reason was given for delaying the HD collection.

The boxed Prince of Persia collection was also delayed until April 19, although all three of those games can be purchased on PSN.

Speculation says that the delays are due to Ubisoft’s factories being hit by pixel shortages. That’s untrustworthy, however, since most of that speculation is coming from me.
