Rainbow Six Vegas Demo on Xbox Live [Update]

One of the most awaited FPS games of the season is almost here, as the Rainbow Six: Vegas demo recently hit the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Personally, I’ve never been to Vegas, but to get the chance to save it from terrorists? Sounds fun already – except I’m not too fond of the shooting, dying, etc. What I can’t wait for, though, is the face mapping with the Xbox Live Vision Camera. Hasn’t that always been the dream? To be in the game?

Kudos to the team at Ubisoft for making it happen without having to deal with envelopes and postage fees.

[Update] Unfortunately, it seems the demo is NOT available for download in the US, Mexico or Canada. Why that is, i’ll never know but it does seem to contradict the most shooter-friendly country – unless another country beats out the US in their love for shooters!
