Hyperkin to release NES Classic Edition Accessories

Today is the day the NES Classic Edition is available. Much like a number of Nintendo consoles and Amiibos at launch, this mini console is terribly hard to find in store. Stores received a limited number of quantities of consoles and even less of the stand alone controller.

If you are lucky enough to get a console or just a stand alone controller, you will notice one big design flaw; the controller cord is extremely short. Thankfully Hyperkin has you covered.
Hyperkin will release two much needed accessories, Extension Cable and NES Controller to NES Classic Adapter. Below are the specs for both accessories:

Hyperkin NES Controller to NES Classic Adapter:
•Compatible with NES controllers, including joysticks (functionality may vary)
•Compatible with Wii U/Wii (NES controllers to Wii U/Wii)
•6-inch cable

Hyperkin Extension Cable for NES Classic Controller/Wii U/Wii (6 ft.)
•Compatible with NES Classic Controllers and Wii U/Wii (via Wiimote)
•Adds 6 ft. to existing NES Classic Controller
•Also compatible with Hyperkin NES Controller to NES Classic Adapter

Hyperkin’s NES Controller to NES Classic Adapter will allow you to use original NES controller with the new NES Classic Edition or on your Wii(U) Virtual Console games. With a lack of controller available on the market, this is a good way to get your two player gaming started.

If you don’t have an original controller, then the Hyperkin Extension cable is a great way to game comfortably without needing an extra long HDMI cable.

Both of these items are available for pre-order at HyperkinLab.
