Last Day to get Rocket League Free on PS+

At this point, if you’re a PlayStation 4 owner, you’ve probably heard about Rocket League. If you haven’t heard about it, you’ve been missing out something hardcore. Go read this, then come back.

See, that title “The Sleeper Hit Your PS4 Deserves” became real life when Rocket League hit over 5 Million downloads. So now that you understand that the powers of my mind are exemplary, I’m just going to throw it out there that the last day to download Rocket League for free is upon us.

As of tomorrow, August 4th, you PlayStation 4 owners will have to pay the low price of $19.99 to experience the rocket-blasting soccer matches that only Rocket League can provide. Now that’s not a bad thing, because Psyonix is all about providing value for the money. How much so? Well, let me tell you!

  • All future Arenas will be free of charge.
  • From the looks of things, paid DLC drops will coincide with free DLC.
  • This game is an absolute BLAST to play.
  • Four-player local multiplayer is amazing.
  • You don’t know satisfaction until you’ve blown up an entire team scoring a goal. Seriously. You don’t.

Within a month, you’ll be killing ’em online. Don’t believe me? Check this stream clip of yours truly dropping fire online:

If that doesn’t look worth the low, low price of $Free.99, I don’t know what does!

Seriously: Go pick up Rocket League. You won’t regret it. And if you’re wondering what that pic is in the header, it’s one of the cars in the $3.99 DLC dropping next week — with a free arena. See? Value. This game will change your life, as soon I started playing it I realized I really needed a traders insurance for my real life car.
