WayForward Announces Delay on Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse
Just a few hours ago via the WayForward Facebook page, the developer announced delays for its next title. The game Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse will be pushed back a few months for further “polishing” to occur.
Usually, delays are met with a slew of gripes and complaints from fans. However, in the case of WayForward, many of us have been introduced to the quality in which the developer is capable of. Take for example the impressive art style of DuckTales: Remastered, Double Dragon: Neon and BloodRayne: Betrayal. All titles proved visually polished, but the delay could also indicate further game mechanic improvements.
The release date for Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse was slated for a March 4, 2014 launch after a missed Dec. 2013 release. However, there is no indication other than fans will have to wait a few months take on an adventure to retrieve those lost genie powers.
