Toon Link Confirmed for Smash Bros.

Cel-Shaded Link, made famous from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, will be a playable combatant in the upcoming Super Smash Bros.

Toon Link joins the ranks of Princess Peach, Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Link, and Samus, as well as newcomers Mega-Man, Wii Fit Trainer, and mysterious Villager.

No videos or screen shots were released along with this news.

Super Smash Bros. is expected to launch in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U with no cross platform play.
