Ubisoft Confirms Two New Assassin’s Creed Titles [Update]
Last week it was rumored that several Ubisoft titles were leaked. Today, Ubisoft confirmed that two of those titles, Assassin’s Creed Liberation and Assassin’s Creed Pirates, are indeed in development.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is a graphically enhanced port of Assassin’s Creed III – Liberation, which was first released on the PS Vita. Liberation HD is being developed as a digital download title for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
The second title is Assassin’s Creed Pirates, which is heading to smartphones and tablets.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD stars the franchise’s first female assassin, Aveline de Grandpré, a woman of French and African heritage, who fights against the Templar-run slave trade in New Orleans. Beyond graphics, the game will receive re-mastered music and sound effects, new missions and updated gameplay.
