Sony Unveils PlayStation Vita TV

Sony has unveiled an interesting piece of hardware for the PlayStation Vita: PS Vita TV, a small device that allows you to play Vita games on the TV.

The PS Vita TV, which, at 6.5cm by 10.5cm, is tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It includes slots for Vita games and memory cards.

How does it work, you ask? The PS Vita TV connects to your TV via HDMI, and requires a DualShock 3 controller to play (it can support up to two controllers). It supports Wi-Fi and has a 1GB internal memory card. It will support PlayStation 4 remote play through a future software update.

The PS Vita TV launches in Japan on November 14 to the cost of 9,480 Yen ($95). Another version of the device, which will go for 14,980 Yen ($150), will come with an 8GB memory card and an extra DualShock 3 controller.

It is unclear at this time if the PS Vita TV will come to the west.

But we sure hope it does.
