Watch_Dogs Open-World Gameplay Trailer
Ubisoft has released a 14-minute, open-world gameplay video for its upcoming game, Watch_Dogs.
In the video, animation director Colin Graham gives us a look at what it’s like to play Watch_Dogs when not focusing on missions. In the game, the city of Chicago is controlled by a main operating system, which operates traffic, lighting and more.
The demonstration has Graham taking protagonist Aiden Pearce through the wards, a place filled with gang members and rusting cars. Graham shows off how to take control of specific areas around the city, by hacking the ctOS control center, which opens up a host of new challenges.
Graham also shows off how Pearce can use hacking to aid in the stealth mechanic.
Other players can join your game seamlessly while you are online. They can attempt to hack you, taking away vital information gathered while playing the campaign. The video shows how you as a player can tackle that challenge, all the while protecting what you have earned.
Watch_Dogs will release on November 19 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC. The Xbox One version will launch on November 22 alongside the console.
