Meet the Voice Cast of Assassin’s Creed IV in New Vignette
The Assassin’s Creed franchise is, if anything, a series rich in history, as well as quality narration. From Philip Shahbaz (Altaïr) to Roger Craig Smith (Ezio), and to Nolan North (Desmond), the series is no stranger to great vocal talent.
With Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag right around the corner, Ubisoft has decided to introduce the latest cast members who will join the aforementioned talent who have the name Assassin’s Creed attached to their IMDB resumes.
Matt Ryan (Criminal Minds) will take the helm as captain Edward Kenway; Mark Bonnar dons the mantle of Blackbeard; and Ralph Ineson (The Office UK, Game of Thrones) will take the role of the pirate Charles Vane
The latest trailer brings these three men together, and allows them to share their thoughts on each of their respective characters and their roles in the Black Flag story. The video also gives us a insider’s view of how the voice actors are recorded: Dressed in mocap suits and recording equipment.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is scheduled to release on October 29 in North America for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, and November 15 for PlayStation 4. It will be available for the Xbox One in November.
