Ubisoft provided the following comment on behalf of talks about The Division:
”Good news for PC gamers: We heard you, and we are happy to share that Tom Clancys The Division also will be available for the PC, in addition to the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.”
For those in the dark about the upcoming Tom Clancy title, The Division follows an elite group of agents called into action for emergency situations. The game takes place in New York three weeks after a deadly virus has struck the city. The post Black Friday events have left the city in complete darkness, and has also left the President of the United States to enact “Presidential Directive 51.”
The game brings players to iconic areas of New York, leaving the area to an open-world experience. The game boasts RPG elements and “persistent” combat. Watch out Lady Liberty, we’ve got some ‘splorin to do.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is slated to release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2014.
