SimCity Finally Heads to Mac in Late August

After a period of delays, SimCity will finally be made available to Mac users starting August 29, Electronic Arts has revealed.

Would-be mayors using Apple hardware have been eagerly waiting for the game to hit their favorite device. However, in June it was revealed by Maxis that the game will be delayed until August.

But now that the date has finally been resolved, Mac players don’t have to wait much longer to help or harass their tiny digital populous.

SimCity will be available on the Mac exclusively as a digital release. It will be cross-platform, meaning that if someone bought the game on the PC already, the game can be downloaded on the Mac via Origin.
