Assassin’s Creed Graphic Novel to Star Indian Assassin

Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed: Brahman, a graphic novel which introduces a new assassin who fights oppression in 19th century India.

The novel stars the assassin Arbaaz Mir, who must fight a “lifelong foe who has subjugated Mir’s land and people.”

Assassin’s Creed: Brahman is being written by Brenden Fletcher, the man behind DC’s Wednesday Comics. The folks behind the art are Eisner and Cameron Stewart (Batman and Robin, Seaguy and Catwoman) and Karl Kerschl (Superman, Flash). This is the same team that was behind the graphic novels Assassin’s Creed: The Fall and Assassin’s Creed: The Chain.

Ubisoft has also revealed that Assassin’s Creed: Brahman will further open up the Assassin’s Creed lore, as well as drop hints at future storylines for the franchise.

Assassin’s Creed: Brahman will be available on bookshelves this fall.
