Greek Retailer Lists Diablo III for Xbox One
A Greek retailer has listed Diablo III for the Xbox One. Does this mean that Blizzard’s demon-infested RPG is heading to Microsoft’s next Xbox?
The listing was caught by Greek website gameslife. The retailer, Plaisio, listed the game without official box art. The listing has since been removed, but not before gameslife took an image of it, nestled snugly below the Xbox One controller:
Now, this could be written off as a mistake on the retailer’s part, as Diablo III has been confirmed for the Xbox 360. The retailer could have mistakenly added the game to the Xbox One roster instead of for the Xbox 360. But a quick search, however, shows that a listing (with box art) exists for Diablo III on Xbox 360.
Blizzard confirmed earlier this month that the game will see a release on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
If the listing proves true and the game is confirmed for the Xbox One, it’s possible it may come to the PlayStation 4 as well. But until we get an actual confirmation or denial, we can only wait and see.
Diablo III will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 on September 3.
