Konami is keeping pace with the robust roots of E3 in showing more of its flagship series, Metal Gear Solid. The newest installment, known as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, takes players down a new path. What better way to take that path that on horseback.
The trailer mentions a few other key points to the series. We hear talks of “Afghanistan” and the tagline “MGS Goes Open World!” shown in a frame. There are is a growing list of quirky characters, which seems to be a staple to the Metal Gear lore. I mean, who doesn’t want involvement with a feller named Skull Face? Just hope he doesn’t skull fu…nevermind.
The game promises a new taste of stealth. Even looking back to the younger days of Metal Gear, it was always a wonder how great the game would look stemming from the PlayStation days and reaching the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Well, it looks like the future is rich.
Punished Snake has his work cut out for him with his hands dipped in the blood of revenge.
