Need For Speed Rivals Announced For Current And Next-Gen Consoles
EA has officially announced Need for Speed Rivals which will be the next entry in the franchise series set to launch for Xbox 360, Ps3, and PC on November 19. In addition, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game are in development with no release date as of yet.
The game will use DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine and is being created by new studio Ghost Games. The studio claims that NFS Rivals will seamlessly integrate single player and multiplayer gameplay with a new feature called AllDrive. This will allow players to drop in and out of each others game worlds. Like it’s predecessors Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted, gamers will be immersed in a large open world environment and have the ability to take on the role of a racer or a police officer.
A Need for Speed movie is also in development by DreamWorks Studios and will star Michael Keaton and Aaron Paul who plays Jesse Pinkman from the television show Breaking Bad.
