FIFA 14 Gets Release Date And Pre-Order Incentive

EA Sports is offering players a special pre-order incentive for FIFA 14 which will be launching on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on September 24. Anyone who pre-orders the game will receive an Ultimate Team gold pack for the FIFA Ultimate Team game mode. In addition, fans who pre-order the “Ultimate Pass” will receive one FIFA UT gold pack over the course of 24 weeks.

Each gold pack contains a mix of 12 cards that include players, contracts, managers, staff, and stadiums. The packs also include helpful items such as healing, fitness, balls, kits, and badges. Gold packs consist of player with a 75+ rating in-game as well as one rare item. The “Ultimate Pass” will be available until midnight on September 23.

FIFA Ultimate Team is a growing popular EA Sports game mode that reflects actual soccer play stats in the real world. It is type of “fantasy soccer” mode where virtual player cards are used for building a team, trading, and competing in matchups.

A FIFA 14 release date for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 has not yet been announced, however, more news on the next-gen version is expected at E3 next month.
