Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies Coming to the West
The next installment of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series from Capcom has been announced for a western release sometime this Fall. Phoenix is back in the courtroom once again, only this time it is destroyed. It is up to him and his new team at Wright Anything Agency to figure out what happened. They will defend their clients against Gaspen Payne, the younger brother of Winston Payne from the previous Phoenix Wright games.
Joining Phoenix will be Apollo, the protagonist of the attorney game Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and a new sidekick Athena Cykes. As with any Phoenix Wright game, Athena has special powers that will help our beloved Phoenix get out of tight situations. Her ability is called “Mood Matrix” and it allows her to determine the emotion that the witnesses are feeling. These feelings may or may not contradict the testimony and it is up to the team to determine if she is lying or telling the truth.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies is the fifth game in the series, following after Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and one spin-off titled Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth where the protagonist is Miles instead of Phoenix. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies is set to arrive for the Nintendo 3DS to Europe and North America in Fall 2013.
