Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen has officially launched for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Dark Arisen, for those who don’t know, includes content from last year’s Dragon’s Dogma, but turns up the heat with more areas, quests and enemies. The game includes a new area called Bitterblack Isle, a new territory filled with treasures and foes. The island can be accessed via an improved travel system.

Those who have played Dragon’s Dogma will be able to import their characters–as well as all saved data–to Dark Arisen.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is available with an MSRP of $39.99.
