God Mode Available on XBLA, Steam and PSN Next Week

Developer Old School Games has announced that the third-person shooter, God Mode, released today for Xbox LIVE Arcade — it will hit both Steam and PSN next week.

Old School Games is a company that lives up to its namesake, focusing on creating games that embrace the style and feel of retro gaming. God Mode, a game named for the popular invincibility code in classic PC shooters, is a title that is “less about deep narrative and more about action.” The goal for the player is to shoot, shoot and shoot a little more, because they will be bombarded with waves of enemies from every corner.

The game will include special abilities, upgradable weapons, character customization and more. There will also be an online co-op mode for up to four people, so you won’t have to frag alone.

God Mode is available for Xbox 360 via Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 MS Points. It will be released on both PSN and Steam on April 23 for $9.99.
