Ubisoft Confirms Splinter Cell: Blacklist for Wii U
Keeping up with its initial support for the Nintendo Wii U, Ubisoft announced that one of its flagship titles will be gracing the console. The agent known as Sam Fisher will deliver stealth tactics on Aug. 20 in North America and Aug. 23 in the UK.
Much like that of Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition, the game will make use of the Wii U GamePad. This is something that seems to be demanded by Nintendo in order to make future titles on the console possible. In the case of a secret agent, the functions come in the form of operating gadgets, maneuvering the ‘Killing in Motion’ feature, and weapon swapping. The game promises “many more” options to come with this accessibility.
