The first of many downloadable content (dlc) packs for the hack’n’slash Metal Gear title launches today. The dlc pack titled “Jetstream” features Raiden’s rival, Samuel Rodrigues, in his finest form.
The content follows Samuel from his reigning terror he unleashes in South America, to his final showdown with World Marshall as he reaches the US city of Denver, Colorado. There isn’t quite a distinct number of hours you can expect through the dlc. The release only details it as “hours” of playtime, adding to the combos and sword flailing of the campaign.
The content is the first in a pack of releases slated for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which we gave an 8/10 in our review. The next content pack called “Blade Wolf” is set to launch this May. The second content pack invites players to delve further into the backstory of ‘Revengeance by detailing many of the mysterious characters of the game. In this case, Blade Wolf becomes accessible via the dlc.
The Jetstream dlc is now available for the PlayStation Network for $9.99 and Xbox LIVE.
