Get Your Diablo III PS3 Gameplay Fix Here
The first gameplay trailer featuring Diablo III on the PlayStation 3 shows battles, exploration, looting and menus.
As you can see from the trailer, attacking and abilities are mapped to the DualShock’s face and shoulder buttons. Though the video isn’t the best representation of the final product, so far the graphics seem to be on par with the PC/Mac with very minimal slowdown. Of course, we won’t know how well the final product will perform on the PlayStation 3, but considering Diablo III‘s easy-to-understand gameplay and console-friendly nature, we bet it will do just fine.
Below you will see the updated menu system, which will allow players to pick different armor parts they want to fly and attach to their avatar’s form.
Diablo III on PS3 will include couch co-op without using split-screen. We’re interested to see what that does for the loot system, which, on the PC and Mac, only allows players to view and take their own loot.
A release date has yet to be officially announced, but we look forward to seeing Diablo III on the console, where it will be able to possibly disappoint a whole new fan base.
