Darkstalkers Resurrection Rises Today in this Launch Trailer
Capcom announced today that two classic fighters will kick off a return from the fighting vault. This time around the package delivers two Darkstalkers titles with a few new upgrades. The pack launches today for 1200 MS Points and $14.99.
The release features Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3. The games are both included in the Darkstalkers Resurrection pack, but there is more to the release than just the games. Now, there are online modes, an HD ‘filtering’ upgrade, and achievements. The HD upgrade is probably something along the lines of what we saw in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD, being able to turn the filtering On/Off. There are also spectator modes to watch your favorite fighters or characters in the heat of battle. So, yes, you can watch Morrigan from a distance, creep. Creep.
It sounds like the online modes are already prepped to supply your need of a challenge. Capcom promises to build on the online universe that was introduced with Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition and Marvel vs. Capcom Origins. Features such as ping lock and display will presumably be added to players cards. Region matching is also a part of the newly introduced re-release.
Darkstalkers Resurrection is slated to launch in Europe on March 13.
