Lost Planet 3 Gets a Release Date and Pre-Order Bonus Goodies
How long has it been since we last saw or heard anything about Lost Planet 3? Is it a current-gen release? Is it being reserved for the PlayStation 4 and ‘Project Durango’ from Microsoft? We now have some answers. It appears that Capcom is all set to release the highly anticipated Lost Planet 3 on June 25 in North America. Europe will receive its launch three days later on June 28.
Depending on which retailer you elect to pre-order the game from, there are some pretty sweet pre-order bonuses with each respective location. You can get your hands on the Freedom Fighter Pack from GameStop (includes five unique multiplayer characters and two rig upgrades), the Assault Pack from Best Buy (three unique weapons and two rig upgrades) and the Punisher Pack from Amazon.com (three unique weapons and two rig upgrades).
Along with all the finalized release date and pre-order bonus information the box art has been revealed (which can be seen above).
The story continues with main protagonist Jim Peyton. He continues to explore E.D.N. III in the name of NEVEC for the constant need for energy. Of course, Snow Pirates and other enemies will inhibit his search. Lost Planet 3 will release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Much more from Lost Planet 3 will be released in the coming months. Stay tuned to GAMINGtruth for further updates.
