Diablo III Joins the PlayStation Family

Today, during the Sony Conference live stream, Blizzard Entertainment took the stage in rare form. The company announced that it’s once again ready to hit the home console scene. After the confusion had settled, the company went on to announce that its Diablo franchise will be heading to the both current and next-gen Sony consoles.

“Diablo III looks and plays great on the PlayStation,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We put a lot of care and thought into the PlayStation version to make sure it would deliver an authentic Diablo gaming experience, and we’re really pleased with the results. We can’t wait for players to try it out at PAX East.”

The console version of Diablo III will be derived from the previously released PC version. All upgrades, Paragon leveling, Legendary items and Brawling can be found in the console version.

A playable demo for Diablo III running on console will be available at PAX East in March. Stay tuned to GAMINGtruth as we will be on scene at the show.
