New Batman Arkham Game Confirmed for 2013
According to an investor call by Time Warner last week, Batman: Arkham City is getting a sequel later this year.
Time Warner’s CFO, John K. Martin stated in the call:
“And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012.”
VG247 sources claim that Rocksteady Studios in not developing this project. Instead, it is working on a prequel that will focus on the unveil how Batman first encountered the Joker. That particular project is expected in 2014.
Last month Warner Bros. registered 15 new domain names centered around the caped crusader. Some of the the domains included: Arkham Legend, Arkham Rises, Arkham Origins and Arkham Legends.
